Carbon Footprint Calculator
MICE industry operators and participants can utilize the Carbon Footprint Calculator to estimate the carbon emissions generated by their business operations and participation in exhibition activities.
(1)Exhibition Operators: Exhibition operators can input data regarding travel, freight and logistics,food and food waste, production and waste and energy used in their office and exhibition activities over the past 12 months. This will calculate the carbon emissions generated by the operation of the exhibition company and the hosting of events. It will also generate tailored carbon emission reports to assist operators in assessing their readiness for carbon reduction and evaluating their carbon reduction potential.
(2) Convention and exhibition participants: Convention and exhibition operators can calculate the carbon emissions of convention and exhibition participants by inputting their transportation usage when participating in convention and exhibition activities.

(1) The Carbon Footprint Calculator provides a preliminary estimate of greenhouse gas emissions for MICE industry professionals. Carbon emissions are calculated based on the reported data provided by users. This tool is intended for internal reference only by MICE industry professionals and should not be used for third-party verification purposes.
(2) The carbon emission factors are primarily referenced from the Mandatory Greenhouse Gas Reporting System’s “GHG Emission Factor Management Table Version 6.0.4,” with the electricity emission factor based on the coefficients from 2022.
Corporate Decarbonization Evaluation System
Exhibition organizers can conduct a self-assessment of their carbon reduction capabilities through questionnaires. They can also gain insights into various carbon reduction initiatives feasible within the MICE industry. Upon completion of the questionnaire assessment, they will immediately receive customized analysis and recommendations reports. This allows for a quick and easy check of the company’s efforts towards low-carbon initiatives. Additionally, they can understand different feasible carbon reduction initiatives in the domestic and international MICE industry.
