Jointly organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and the Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry (TAMI), TIMTOS 2025 will take place from March 3–8, 2025, and be held in Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Halls 1 and 2, in addition to Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1. As one of the world's most influential professional exhibitions for smart manufacturing and machine tools, TIMTOS 2025 will feature nearly 1,000 exhibitors in over 6,000 booths.
Integrate to Innovate: Pioneering Business Opportunities in Five Key Sectors
Themed Integrate to Innovate, TIMTOS 2025 will underscore integration and innovation as the driving forces behind unlocking new business opportunities in semiconductors, electric vehicles, healthcare, aerospace, and green energy. This edition will introduce two exciting new exhibit areas: AI, Control Systems Smart Manufacturing Zone and the Innovative Applications Zone, showcasing AI-driven solutions for the machine tool industry, as well as breakthroughs in automation system integration, laser processing, circular economy, and energy-efficient, low-carbon technologies and their applications.
Three Core Areas To Echo AI and Smart Manufacturing Trends
As the AI trend grows worldwide, TIMTOS 2025 will continue leading the way in industrial transformation with three key areas: AI & Robotics, Future Smart Manufacturing, and Green Energy Sustainability. With tech giants like Apple and NVIDIA making strides in AI-driven robotics, Taiwan’s machine tool supply chain is seeing a surge in success, with multiple local manufacturers securing positions within the supply chains of major U.S.A. firms. This trend is set to ignite a new wave of growth in Taiwan's robotics sector.
Future Smart Manufacturing: AI Drives the Next Industrial Revolution
The Future Smart Manufacturing area will spotlight next-generation smart factories primarily based on AI computing and robotics. Aligned with the Industry 4.0 movement, these advancements leverage big data, AI, and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) to propel manufacturing transformation. From component design and polishing to quality control, automation powered by cloud and edge computing enhances efficiency, while robotics address labor shortages. The era of fully automated, unmanned factories is fast approaching.
Celebrating the 30th Anniversary: Exclusive Highlights for TIMTOS 2025
Marking its 30th edition, TIMTOS 2025 will have a special significance. For the first time, the event will launch TIMTOS Keynote, a high-profile conference featuring global industry leaders and scholars who will share insights on cutting-edge smart manufacturing and machine tool innovations. This will solidify TIMTOS' role as the premier international stage for unveiling the latest technologies and shaping industry discourse. In addition, during the exhibition, procurement meetings, ESG-themed events, a green product competition and thematic tours will be held to further consolidate industry momentum. TAITRA has expanded invitations to key buyers from Taiwan's top machine tool export markets as well as emerging markets, ensuring a dynamic and high-impact gathering for global industry players.
