For foreign enterprises that have chosen Taiwan as their idyllic destination, the Taiwan MICE Project Office provides numerous customized services.
Counseling regarding visa applications is available to foreigners coming to Taiwan for conferences or incentive travel.
Tour packages can be arranged according to individual needs ranging from four days/three nights to five days/four nights to every part of the country. Activities include canoeing, sky lanterns, rafting, and experiencing aboriginal traditions and cultures.
Information about venues, including sizes and locations, is available and can be catered to suit individual requirements.
Assistance with arranging site inspections can be provided.
Enjoyable incentive travel requires quality services. The Project Office can help by recommending reliable event organizers and venue operators.
Fam Tours (familiarization tours) are organized for international incentive travel organizers and media who are invited to Taiwan for a first-hand experience of Taiwan. Incorporated in the itinerary are visits to tourist spots, historical monuments, and potential meeting and event venues, among others.
To promote Taiwan as Asia’s premier destination for MICE, and to encourage multinational firms to choose Taiwan for their corporate meetings and incentive travel, the Taiwan MICE Project Office (MEET TAIWAN), sanctioned by the International Trade Administration (TITA), launched the TITA's Business Events in Surprising Taiwan (BEST) Rewards Program to provide incentives and support to overseas groups coming to Taiwan for corporate meetings and incentive travel.
